Nowadays, washable nappies aren’t just cotton terry. There are even more different fabric options to choose from today. Here’s an overview to give you a hand:

| *Most nappies are made of a several different fabrics. We are talking about the main absorbent part of the nappy here | ||||
 | Cotton is manufactured with pesticides But it’s a reliable All-Rounder otherwise Go straight to Cotton Nappies | Bamboo is made from a fast-growing crop without pesticides It’s very soft and silky to touch It’s not so quick to absorb, but will hold a lot | Microfibre is man-made It absorbs very quickly (like those ultra-absorbent tiny towels for the gym) It needs help to ‘store’ moisture from a natural fibre Some people don’t like the feel of it | Hemp is an eco-friendly natural fibre It absorbs a lot, but takes time to do so It’s very slim for its absorption capacity Over time it can get a bit ‘hard’ |
