One size fits Birth to potty
| | | All these nappies are 'One-Size' or 'Birth to Potty' designs. For more information on this check out our Sized or Onesize?page. One Size nappies are great if you have two in nappies at the same time, and can be very economical, even the top-end designs. They're probably the most popular sort of real nappy at the moment. | |

Stay-Dry top layer
| | Fleece and suede-cloth are magic fabrics that keep your baby's bottom nice and dry, letting moisture down into the absorbent materials, but not back up again. If you have a nappy that has natural fibres next to baby's skin, you can pop a fleece liner inside it to get the same effect. | |

Slim Fit
| | | If you, like me, had a fear of the bulky-hip look when thinking about trying reusables, then this little lot will change your mind. Some are as slim-fitting as disposables, and are great for getting a few more weeks' wear out of those adorable (and expensive!) new baby outfits. Mostly these are Sized nappies, but some One Sizes are pretty trim fitting too. For more ideas see our 'Slim-Fit' Trial Bundle too. | |

For Heavy Wetters
| | | Although this phrase always makes me think of that 70s swimming pool poster outlawing heavy petting, we're actually talking about heavy wetting. If your baby is out-weeing nappies for his or her age-range (although, it does often seem to be boys!) you have a "heavy wetter". These nappies are often recommended for babies going through this stage. | |

Night Nappies
| | When your baby is newborn, day is night and night is day. And it feels like that too. Eventually though, the nights will become nights again, with a few hours sleep. That's when you might want to look for nappies that will last that bit longer. It's all personal preference, but here are some recommended by other mums for night-times. Or check out our Trial Bundles for more ideas. | |

Lower Airmiles
| | | All these nappies are made in the UK or Europe. Ergo less airmiles and lower carbon footprint. Marvellous. | |

Quick-Drying
| | All these are quick to dry without a tumble-drier. Handy if you don't have one, or don't want one. Check out our guide to 'Fabrics' for more on this. You can always check out our Nappy Trial Bundles too for our 'Quick-Dry' bundle.

Natural Fibres
| | Some babies with super-sensitive skin do best with natural fibres right next to their skin. Or you might just prefer the feel of natural fibres (after all, you're the one that puts them on and takes them off!). Check out our guide to 'Fabrics' for more on this. Either way, here's a quick shortlist of all those with natural fibres next to baby's skin. | |
